Wolves v Liverpool (1245 GMT)
Wolves came close to upsetting Manchester City when they lost 4-3 at Eastlands last weekend, then they scored five against Doncaster in the FA Cup in midweek. So, for a team that had been struggling to find the net, they have suddenly started scoring goals from all sorts of angles.
Slowly but surely Liverpool are improving, too. They are still missing Steven Gerrard, who is suspended, but Fernando Torres looked a bit more like his old self in their last game against Everton - as did the rest of the team.
After a draw and two defeats in his three games in charge so far, Reds boss Kenny Dalglish is in need of a win. But I'm told that everything is all very positive around the club. The training ground is a different place already, just because of who he is, and I don't think it will be long before their results pick up, too.
It appears Dalglish might get some backing to bring some players in before the end of the month, and they do need somebody to play with Torres up front.
Ajax's Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez has been spoken about as a possible target and he is the sort of player that Liverpool's American owners might want because he is young, at 23, so they can get a few years out of him and there is always the possibility of selling him on later.
Prediction: 1-1

Arsenal v Wigan
I was at Elland Road on Wednesday night to watch Arsenal beat Leeds in the FA Cup and some of their football was irresistible.
Wigan are not the type of team that can put 10 men behind the ball to try to stop the Gunners, as some sides do, because they just don't play that way.
The reverse of this fixture only took place over Christmas, so it is quite a quick turnaround. Wigan pulled off a 2-2 draw at the DW Stadium in that game, equalising late on despite having only 10 men, and they had a real go at Arsene Wenger's side.
But that was a weakened Arsenal line-up because Wenger had rotated his squad and, in any case, going to the Emirates makes it an entirely different proposition for the Latics.
Prediction: 3-0

Blackpool v Sunderland
Darren Bent's departure to Aston Villa for an initial £18m might not be the end of the world for Sunderland because, in the last couple of months, Danny Welbeck and Asamoah Gyan have looked like better players anyway.
Bent has gone, but they have got big money for him so it is good business. It seems they are looking to bring in a replacement striker until the end of the season before going for a really big signing in the summer.
Sunderland are a well run club and I think Niall Quinn is doing a great job as chairman because he really helps the manager Steve Bruce, and he is different to a lot of chairmen or chief executives because he understands the football side of things.
They will be fine without Bent in the long run but they are in for a difficult afternoon at Bloomfield Road. I saw Blackpool beat Liverpool last week and Ian Holloway has got the Seasiders playing a really effective 4-3-3 formation - they are as good as anybody playing that system.
As I have said before, they are really reliant on Charlie Adam and David Vaughan to pull the strings for them in midfield, particularly Adam who pings diagonal cross-field passes around all day and really stretches teams. He makes the pitch seem a lot bigger than it is.
You would worry a bit for Blackpool if Adam, who Villa have been in for, does leave. But with him they probably feel they can beat anybody. I can see them getting the better of the Black Cats and, having reached 28 points already, they are probably only about two or three wins from safety.
Prediction: 2-1

Everton v West Ham
Everton have started to pick up a bit of form since they lost to Stoke at the start of January. They beat Tottenham, stuffed Scunthorpe in the FA Cup, and had a very good draw against Liverpool last time out. They should win this one fairly comfortably, too.
The whole situation at West Ham is a mess, and the way that Avram Grant has been treated like a piece of washing in the wind by the Hammers' owners is ridiculous.
They have come out and backed Grant now but why didn't they do that last week? Everyone knows it was because they were hedging their bets over Martin O'Neill taking over.
The Hammers have an awful lot of problems and, with all the messing around behind the scenes, I think they are really going to struggle. Scott Parker, who has been their best player this season, is probably wondering what the heck is going on because it is not the way to run a football club.
We still don't know whose decision it was to sign Wayne Bridge on loan from Manchester City and the Hammers are just not going to be able to get some of the players they want to sign this month because those players won't know who is going to be in charge.
What I will say about Grant is that he has remained extremely dignified in the face of all this speculation over his future. Forget about what you think about him as a manager and whether he can keep West Ham up, he deserves credit because of how he has acted after the way he has been treated.
Prediction: 2-0

Fulham v Stoke
Fulham are like Everton in that they have begun to play a little bit better since the start of the year and they can see light at the end of the tunnel after a difficult few weeks that had seen them slide down the table.
It looks like Cottagers boss Mark Hughes will be bringing in a couple of new faces this month and with Moussa Dembele back from injury and Bobby Zamora not far away either, that is already the equivalent of two really good signings.
They are up against a Stoke team that just keep battling away and are very difficult to beat. It is very rare that they go anywhere and give teams an easy game, but I am still going for a Fulham win.
Prediction: 2-1

Man Utd v Birmingham
Birmingham just kept going when these two sides met at St Andrew's just after Christmas and got a point out of nothing, really, although there was a bit of controversy over Lee Bowyer's late equaliser!
But they will find things a lot more difficult here. The Blues have big problems getting goals and, consequently, getting points, on the road.
Birmingham will improve because their manager Alex McLeish is bringing in players that will make them a better side but Old Trafford is not the place to go to when you need a win. United are not only at home, but they are in very good form so it is not a very good time to be playing them.
Prediction: 2-0

Newcastle v Tottenham
Newcastle are very unpredictable at the moment. They should probably have taken all three points at Sunderland last week because they were the better side but what you always get from them under manager Alan Pardew is a team willing to battle. They get their foot in and they press the opposition, and they do both of those things extremely well.
Tottenham have been on a great run but they lost at Everton and drew at home to Manchester United in their last two league games, and I think they might be in for another frustrating time here.
I still think Spurs are heading in the right direction, though. Steven Pienaar is an excellent signing from Everton, and he is a really useful player because he can play in any position across the midfield - he's a good footballer, runs at people and commits defenders.
Pienaar is another attack-minded player to add to the long list at Tottenham and it's another clever buy by Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.
Redknapp has let David Bentley go out on loan to Birmingham, made Robbie Keane available and is probably thinking about allowing Nico Krankjar to leave as well. He is changing his options around in that department and has such great competition for places.
Prediction: 2-1

Aston Villa v Man City (1730 GMT)
Villa surely cannot be as bad as they were in the opening half-hour against Manchester City at Eastlands in December, when they went 3-0 down. They were hopeless, and that first half performance was probably the worst I have seen by any team all season.
They have to be better, and I expect them to put in a much-improved display. You are never too good to go down but I think Villa have too many match-winners to be relegated.
With Darren Bent on board, they have some goals in their team now and, when you look at Gerard Houllier's squad and see people like Ashley Young, Stewart Downing and Gabriel Agbonlahor and Marc Albrighton, there are a few players capable of turning a game.
Also, the pressure is off Houllier now because, if he was on the brink of being sacked, Villa owner Randy Lerner would not have backed him so much in this transfer window.
City's defence should pose some problems for Bent in his first game because Kolo Toure and Vincent Kompany are forming a solid partnership at the back.
Roberto Mancini's side don't struggle to score goals either, but they might have to settle for a single point at Villa Park.
