Chelsea v Blackburn
It will be interesting to see how Chelsea play here after their emphatic FA Cup victory over Ipswich last weekend. Not a lot has gone right for them in recent weeks but I think their biggest problem has been that, other than in that Cup tie, all of their forwards have been average at best.
Blackburn are still up against it a little bit, despite that fine win over Liverpool in their last Premier League game on 5 January. Their manager Steve Kean wants to put his own stamp on the team but, until he gets one or two of his own players in, that is going to be very difficult to achieve.
Prediction: 2-0

Man City v Wolves
I would think that Manchester City's new £27m striker Edin Dzeko will play some part in this game. We don't know whether Roberto Mancini intends to play Dzeko and Carlos Tevez in the same team, with Tevez possibly operating behind the Bosnian international, but, if he does then that could be a very potent partnership.
Wolves got a great win over Chelsea at Molineux in their last league game but they have not been much of a threat on the road. City's record at Eastlands is not great, but they don't give many goals away either.
Prediction: 2-0

Stoke v Bolton
These are two teams having decent seasons, with two managers doing a good job. We all know the effect that Owen Coyle has had at Bolton but I don't think Tony Pulis always gets the credit he deserves at Stoke because, after establishing them in the Premier League, he is slowly but surely changing their playing style.
Stoke have already lost a couple of games at the Britannia Stadium this season and I don't think they will lose many more. I can see the Potters just about edging this one.
Prediction: 2-1

West Brom v Blackpool
I was at Bloomfield Road on Wednesday night for Blackpool's win over Liverpool and saw for myself just how difficult the Seasiders are to deal with.
Like Stoke, and a few other clubs, they have a set system that they stick to but they don't half get a lot out of it and cause lots of problems for the opposition. They use a lot of diagonal balls and spread the play to make the pitch as big as possible.
You can see why a few clubs are interested in Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam too, because he is a very good player, with a very good football brain - he thinks on the move.
But Adam is one of a number of very good players at Blackpool and another of his team-mates who has also impressed me is his midfield partner David Vaughan, who does not seem to be in the limelight quite so much and appears very under-rated. They are both really good passers of the ball and, essentially, they make Blackpool tick.
West Brom have struggled of late, losing six games in a row, so they are on a bad run of results and have had a few injuries too.
But I think they might get back to winning ways here. They have had the last few days off, while Blackpool put a lot of effort into their victory over Liverpool and they might suffer a bit for it.
Prediction: 2-1

West Ham v Arsenal (1730 GMT)
If I were West Ham boss Avram Grant, I'd be asking the club's owners to stop talking about my future and let me get on with my job. If they do that and then decide he is not good enough, that is fair enough, but they have to stop issuing him with ultimatums about winning - whether it is this match, one out of the next three, or whatever - just let him manage.
Throughout all the speculation, Grant has kept his dignity and the Hammers also got a good result against Birmingham in the first leg of their Carling Cup semi-final on Tuesday, but I was at Upton Park and it was far from straightforward.
West Ham were very good in the first half, but went missing in the second half and Birmingham will feel they should have got something from the game - they certainly should have had a penalty as well.
It's not a good time to meet Arsenal either. They will be licking their wounds a bit because of what happened at Ipswich in the same competition in midweek and there could be a bit of a backlash from that game here.
Prediction: 0-2

Wigan v Fulham
Wigan, as I keep saying, are the hardest team in the Premier League to predict because you just don't know what you will get from them from one week to the next.
I see that half of the Latics players have been linked with moves elsewhere now that the January transfer window is open. The club's policy appears to be to bring these boys in from abroad, improve them and sell them on - so we might see a couple of them move soon. But Roberto Martinez's side have been steadily picking up points in the last few weeks and I think they will do the same this time.
Fulham have started to pick up a bit recently and it looks like they will do a bit of business in the transfer market too, although they will be strengthening their squad. Moussa Dembele and Bobby Zamora cannot be far away from a return either, so they will only improve further from now on.
Prediction: 1-1
